The Gallery was opened in 1999.

The aim is to display art that challenges and informs through offering awareness and appreciation for the arts.

The Gallery takes part in international art exhibitions by presenting a collection of paintings and sculptures by contemporary figurative artists. Thus the Gallery gives greater exposure to artists who for the most part are unknown in the art world.
